Follow the Nudge: What's Ahead on Penny for Your Shots

How many ideas have you put on hold because you didn't feel ready?

Maybe it's a trip you've wanted to take. A hobby you've wanted to try. A conversation you've needed to have. A business idea that's been quietly tapping you on the shoulder for years.

If you're anything like me, you've probably convinced yourself you'll do it someday. When life slows down. When you know more. When you feel more confident.

But what if confidence doesn't come first?

Lately, I've been noticing a common thread weaving through so many areas of my life. It shows up in the conversations I'm having, the experiences I'm creating, and even the projects I'm finally bringing to life.

It all comes back to this: women deserve spaces where we can connect, grow, laugh, learn, and remember who we are.

That's why I'm so excited about what's ahead.

I'm looking forward to conversations with women who are creating opportunities for connection and confidence, including Jillian Johnson, the founder of LEGS, the Ladies Executive Golf Society. While golf may be the setting, the real conversation is about belonging, courage, and showing up before you feel completely comfortable.

I'm also incredibly excited to welcome Dr. Sarah Norris to discuss women's health, menopause, and the questions too many women have been taught not to ask. For generations, women have been encouraged to quietly accept symptoms that impact their quality of life. It's time for different conversations. We deserve information, support, and the confidence to advocate for ourselves.

Then there's Wine Camp.

Yes, there will be fabulous wine. But what makes Wine Camp special is the opportunity for women to reconnect with themselves and one another. It's about stepping away from daily responsibilities long enough to laugh, learn, and build the kinds of friendships that remind us we're not alone.

The same is true for Sipper Club. Every month, women gather over cocktails and conversation. We celebrate wins, share challenges, and create space for authentic connection. It isn't about perfection. It's about community.

And then there's the project that nudged me for six years before I finally said yes.

During the pandemic, I had an idea to create cocktail videos with my husband, Jeff. I imagined us experimenting with recipes, sharing what we love, and simply bringing a little more joy into the world.

Then I waited. I told myself I needed more time, more knowledge, a better plan.

Sound familiar?

Eventually, I realized that sometimes we don't need another strategy session. Sometimes we simply need to begin.

That's how Pour Decisions with Penny and Jeff finally came to life.

Here's what I've learned: you do not need the entire roadmap before taking the first step.

You don't have to know exactly how everything will unfold.

You don't have to wait until it looks perfect.

You can book the trip. Join the group. Ask the question. Record the video. Try the hobby. Make the cocktail.

Most importantly, let yourself have fun again.

Because maybe those nudges you've been feeling aren't interruptions. Maybe they're invitations. Invitations to reconnect with joy, rediscover your brilliance, remember that it's never too late to try something new.

So here's my question for you: What nudge have you been ignoring?

Maybe this is your sign to follow it.

Cheers, my friend.
