If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing all the things but not seeing the results you hoped for, this week’s conversation is going to feel like a big exhale.

I sat down with my friend Angel Wilborn—host of the newly rebranded GLOE podcast (that’s God, Life, Organization, and Entrepreneurship). Angel is one of those women who just radiates light. She’s honest, funny, and not afraid to talk about the messy parts of life and business. Which is exactly why I wanted to bring her back on the show.

The Power of Reinvention

Angel shared how she decided to rebrand her podcast earlier this year. At first, she launched on a whim with a name that didn’t quite capture what her show had become. But when the idea of GLOE came to her, she knew it was right.

She rolled out the new brand in just a few weeks—colors, tagline, all of it—on the two-year anniversary of her show. Why? Because sometimes the best time to pivot isn’t “someday.” It’s now.

The Messy Middle

Of course, change isn’t always neat and tidy. Angel talked about what she calls the “messy middle”—that space between what you’ve outgrown and what’s not fully built yet. It’s where self-doubt creeps in. It’s where you wonder if you should quit. But it’s also where confidence is born, because you realize you don’t need to have it all figured out to take the next step.

Letting Go of Perfectionism

One theme that kept coming up? How often women hold themselves back because they don’t feel ready or perfect. Angel reminded us that waiting for flawless execution usually means waiting forever. Reinvention doesn’t require permission slips. It requires imperfect, brave action.

Finding Joy and Play Again

We also laughed about how easy it is to lose our sense of play as we get older. Angel is intentionally bringing more fun back into her creative process—whether it’s imagining different personas for her podcast “team” (spoiler: she’s the producer, editor, and researcher all rolled into one!) or simply letting herself be curious again.

What We Can Learn from Angel

Angel’s story is a reminder that reinvention isn’t about starting over—it’s about building on the wisdom you’ve already gained. It’s about owning your gifts, even when life feels messy. And it’s about learning to glow boldly and live purposefully (her words, and honestly, I couldn’t love them more).

So if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time to pivot, start, or reimagine what’s next… this episode is your permission slip.
